IntoSchool.be ("we") is the service name used by Cláudia Formiga, acting as a natural person, for a school-transition advisory service for families entering the French-speaking Belgian school system. Delivering the service can involve information about a child. We only process it to provide the service, with the parent's or guardian's involvement, and we keep it to the minimum needed. We do not sell children's data, use it for advertising profiles, promise a school place or equivalence outcome, or exchange passports, report cards or similar documents over unsecured channels such as messaging apps.
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers acting on our instructions or providing a requested site function. For this funnel, the intended providers are Netlify for hosting and lead capture, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payments when payment links are configured, a booking scheduler when booking is configured, public geocoding/map services for optional address lookup and map display, and Meta only for advertising or analytics events after consent. Each provider may process only the data needed for its function. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use the relevant transfer safeguards required by law.
Your dossier is deleted after the assignment. Once your engagement ends, we delete the working dossier and the documents relating to your child (school records, transcripts, correspondence) within 30 days unless there is an active dispute, an ongoing support request or another legal reason to keep them longer. We keep only what the law requires us to keep — principally invoicing and accounting records, which Belgian law normally requires for seven years, plus a minimal record that a service was provided and consent was given.
The newsletter is separate. If you opt in to the newsletter, we keep only your email address for that purpose, on its own consent. It is held separately from any client dossier: deleting your dossier does not remove you from the newsletter, and unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect your service. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Deletion is your right. You do not have to wait for the assignment to end. You can ask us to erase your data at any time and we will do so, except for legally required records, and confirm when it is done.
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, receive a copy in a portable form, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Essential storage makes the site and cookie banner work. Analytics and advertising cookies, including any Meta pixel, are off by default and only run if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice by clearing the banner state in your browser and reloading the page.
